He is a native of Elele Alimini community in river state Nigeria,
On our interviews with him,
He said that his mentors are Davido and Olamide,
He recorded his 1st track titled "wakeup in the morning" with the group name (with his brother ) "D-Dice" as a rapper, under "Poly Man Soldier boys" record label in the year 2013.
He later changed his stage name from "D-Dice" to "D Shakur" in 2014 when he was sign into "DY Jahbless Entertainment"
